The company PACKMAT started in September 1966 in Kernen (Remstal, DE) with the manufacturing of packaging machines for the greeting cards industry.
In the middle of the seventies, they extended the product range with feeding systems for flat products from Willi Maschinenbau AG in Switzerland.
In the early eighties, the form-fill & seal machine to pack small parts was born. Therefore, PACKMAT have had several main pillars for a successful business development.
In 1991 the company PACKMAT moved from Kernen to the new building in Villingendorf next to Rottweil..
Midyear 1990, the company PAKCRAFT joined the firm group. PAKCRAFT's termination of production was in the end of the nineties.
