With 70 years of experience, ACEF is a market leader for wholesalers of raw materials for pharmacies, the cosmetic industry and food supplements.
The ACEF– Chemical and Pharmaceutical Company – was founded in Fiorenzuola d’Arda, Italy in 1940 as an individual company, whereas today it is a joint-stock company that boasts an indisputable leadership in the supplying of raw materials to the wholesale sector for pharmaceutical laboratories.
It was in fact in those initial years, in the wake of post-war economic development, that medicinal substances were beginning to be produced on quite a wide scale by the individual pharmacies themselves and ACEF soon became the main supply source for products and active ingredients. The company’s constant research into new raw materials, together with its immediate decision to establish a kind of distribution that would practically meet almost every requirement of each individual client, has always been its twofold strategy for success. Even today the products can still be delivered in quantities that go from bulk consignments right down to parcels weighing less than 1,000 grammes, so as to meet the needs of those laboratories that would otherwise be excluded from the standard distribution of manufacturing companies.
