The Gramß GmbH was founded in Tettau, Northern Bavaria, in 1989. Products manufactured were mostly designed for the cosmetic industry, but due to increasing demand from the food and pharmaceutical industry, the company soon re-located to larger, more modern manufacturing and administration premises in Lauenstein.
In 2004, a positive international development together with an expansion of national business prompted the management to move location again. Production for injection moulded articles, administration and management facilities were centralized in Spechtsbrunn.
With continued flexible working practices at Gramß sites between all depart- ments, development and repairs of toolmaking facilities are executed without delay. Throughout its history, the Gramß GmbH has evolved into a modern enterprise employing fifty five personnel. In addition, due to newly created capacities at the Spechtsbrunn site, Gramß is able to respond rapidly and effectively to clients' requirements, utilizing modern and efficient production methods, which are continually updated to meet today's growing demands for new and innovative storage products for the cosmetics, food and pharmaceutical industries.
Das Unternehmen produziert die Spritzgussartikel auf computergeregelten Maschinen der jüngsten Generation mit einem Schließdruck von 25 bis
320 to. Speziell ausgebildete, erfahrene Maschinenführer arbeiten im Drei-Schicht-Betrieb. Die Weiterverarbeitung sowie Komplettierung von Ver-schlüssen mit z. B. Dichteinlagen erfolgt auf eigens entwickelten modernen Produktionsautomaten.
Bei der modernen Reinraumanlage werden von der Produktion bis hin zur automatischen Zählung und Verpackung unter steriler Umgebung Ver-schlüsse und Behälter für die Medizin-, Pharma- und Kosmetikindustrie hergestellt.
