The Herz Group, founded in 1965 in Neuwied, Germany, dedicated a special department to plastic welding equipment and machines: Herz GmbH Kunststoff- und Wärmetechnologie was formed.
In 1973, the Herz Group opened another independent subsidiary in Schönberg, Austria. Herz Austria GmbH was formed. From this new location, business relations with former Yugoslavia, Hungary and Poland were created.
The range of products was expanded by including hand-held welding extruders, test bells and other special test equipment for plastic processing, as well as the HERZ butt welding machine, the HERZ bent bench and sheet metal bender.
In 1991 Herz GmbH Kunststoff- und Wärmetechnologie obtained new premises in the Neuwied district of Heimbach-Weis.
In the same year, HERZ KFT, with its headquarters in Budapest, Hungary, was founded.
In 1992, the HERZ Group opened HERZ Sp.z.o.o in Warsaw, Poland.
In 1997, Herz Austria GmbH began business operations in a second branch in Wolkersdorf, Vienna.
In 2004, the building and renovations for the Herz Austria GmbH premises in Schönberg, Tyrol started. After almost a year, the new building was handed over in January 2005.
In the same time, Herz Hungaria KFT was extended and renovated. In February 2005, the new premises in Üllö, Hungary were handed over.
In October 2005, another branch, HERZ Bulgaria OOD in Sofia, Bulgaria was opened. In the pleasant atmosphere of our state-of-the-art premises and matching furnishings, we use our 40 years of experience to help our customers with all upcoming tasks in the field of plastic conditioning and processing.
Die 1965 in Neuwied / Deutschland gegründete Herz-Gruppe richtete eine spezielle Abteilung für Kunststoffschweißgeräte – und maschinen ein: die Herz GmbH Kunststoff- und Wärmetechnologie entstand.
