For centuries, water was worshipped as something special, something sacred. Lakes and rivers still have a magical appeal to people today.
Without water there would be no life.
This is why Color Chemie has always developed only water-based printing ink systems: due to its chemical neutrality, water is the ideal solvent.
Our team has even accomplished what once seemed impossible: our water-based inks can also be used for flexo printing on non-absorbent printing materials. With the correct extender, one of our concentrated ink systems can even be used for printing on paper and film.
Using water as a solvent preserves resources and creates considerable ecological and financial benefits in manufacture, transport, storage and application.
"We are cooking with water!" we can say with some pride.
Cost-effectiveness is the most important requirement for printers. In addition to new machines, modern facilities and advanced ink systems are also required to be able to work cost-effectively and efficiently.
Color Chemie offers modern basic ink systems, to enable the customer to mix all Pantone shades. These basic inks can be supplied in the print-ready quality or as ink concentrates.
Since the company was founded, we have been involved in the development of ink mixing systems in order to reduce the volume of packaging waste. We are also an expert partner in this field for our customers.
With the delivery of basic inks we also offer relevant ink mixing systems, the functionality of which we will continue to develop with the cooperation of our customers.
The advantages are clear: each printer can mix his own ink as required; the inks for urgent jobs will be ready within minutes; no stockpiles of ink build up; there is little left-over ink and what there is can be easily mixed into new blends; there are less empty packages and there are marked price benefits due to bulk buying.
