EXCOR Corrosion Protection Technologies and Products GmbH was founded in 1992 as joint venture between the German Packaging Dealer Hermann Christian Knüppel KG and the American company NTIC. Today, EXCOR has 35 employees at their offices in Hann. Münden and Dresden.
EXCOR Corrosion Research GmbH with its headquarters in Dresden was founded in 1996. Today 18 employees work and do research at this location.
In the past ten years the direct marketing area has been continually expanded and, in addition the its core area in Germany, includes the countries of Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Rumania, Hungary, South Africa and Mexico. Beyond this, in nearly all industrialised countries, joint venture partner companies are available for world-wide support.
Five German and four overseas sales personnel, as well as two applications engineers, ensure reliable counselling and supply of our marketing partners and customers.
EXCOR Tehnologii si Produse Anticorozive S.R.L. in Rumania was founded in 2007.
Die entwickelten Systeme und Verfahren dienen zur Schadenvorbeugung und -analyse. Dies gelingt nur mit chemischer Spurenanalytik und setzt umfangreiche Erfahrungen auf dem Gebiet der Werkstoffkunde und der Chemie im weitesten Sinne voraus. Die Leistungen der EXCOR Korrosionsforschung umfassen dabei folgende Themengebiete:
Erarbeitung von Qualitätsnormen, Kontrolle und Einhaltung dieser QS-Normen bei der Herstellung von EXCOR-Produkten
Neu- und Weiterentwicklung von Wirkstoffsystemen
Prozessanalyse zur Beurteilung von Korrosionsschutzsystemen beim Anwender
Schadensanalyse
Klimatische Verpackungsprüfung z.B. nach Feuchtlufttemperatur-Wechselklima (DIN EN 60068-2-30 und anderen)
