The group
The solvadis group is an important service provider in the international marketing and distribution of basic and specialty chemicals. Under the management of solvadis holding sàrl, Luxembourg, we operate as a recognized partner of global suppliers as well as European and regional customers. solvadis operates its own sales network and process-oriented logistics concepts, which make it one of the market leaders in these rapidly expanding markets.
Our marketing activities are concentrated in the field of sulphur, sulphuric acid, methanol and biofuels under the name solvadis commodity chemicals gmbh. This business unit has an international focus, moving high volumes in their specialised sectors, operating centrally from our Frankfurt headquarters.
A further business unit concerns the sourcing and sales of fertilizers and agricultural chemicals from Central Europe via our subsidiary company Chemag Agrar GmbH.
We provide special chemicals for the chemical industry and industry-oriented applications via solvadis chemag gmbh. The main focus is on industrial chemicals and minerals, pharmaceutical substances and synthetic lubricants. Product management and advice relating to technical applications are provided centrally via our Frankfurt headquarters. The plastics sector is covered by solvadis polymere gmbh, which operates as a distributor and sales partner for mass synthetics such as PVC and EPS.
We maintain sales and storage locations throughout Germany and Europe for our own distribution activities in the field of store-based distribution of commodities. In Germany alone our sales and storage locations enable us to provide a country-wide presence. Product management is provided from a central location while the sales organisation operates on a regional basis. Product focus lies on methanol, aromatic compounds, aliphatics and organic solvents.
At our Industriepark Höchst location in Frankfurt we provide procurement and distribution services for industrial raw materials, packaging materials and high-quality supplies through our subsidiary company chemfidence services gmbh & co. kg. In this respect the chemfidence shop provides a direct opportunity for our customers to procure our products at any time.
